Hello everyone! Sorry for being MIA for a while. I’ve been super busy! I feel like i say this each time but trust me, take busy and multiply it with 3000!
Ive recently started working at a new place and its taking up a lot of my time to settle in, learn the new work and make sure i dont make a fool out of myself :’)
Hence, i’ve been MIA. But i have A LOT of exciting new posts coming up including fashion posts! So get excited.
Today i wanted to review the Ultimate Glow Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills, which has very quickly become one of my most used highlighter palette.
I’m a gold highlight fan, i think it compliments my skin tone a lot and thats why i tend to stick to a lot of gold shades. What i don’t like about highlight is when people over do it and it looks like a flash light, i just hate that look.
So the thing i like about this palette is that it gives vey subtle but extremely beautiful glow to the cheeks. It looks super natural, basically as natural as a highlight can look!
The palette comes in with 6 very beautiful shades which include 5 gorgeous shades of gold and one silvery highlight which i have yet to test. I feel like i forget that the platte comes with a silvery color because i get so overwhelmed and excited by looking at the gold shades. Here’s my new year resolution: Use the silver highlight on my ultimate glow palette! :’)
The quality of the shades on the skin is pretty good. I mean you would expect that as Anastasia Beverly Hills has very quickly climbed the “must have” brand for highlighters.
Im not too crazy about the packaging, especially the “glow kit” lettering style used on the palette, i feel like whoever designed the cover had to work late a couple of days and in the end they just gave up!
Aesthetics play a vital role in the success of a product and i firmly believe if the packaging was a bit better this palette would be as sought after as the “that glow” palette.
Overall i love the platte and i would highly recommend it to any makeup junkie, such as myself 🙂
