Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I posted a review and as always I’ll blame it on the pathetic work life balance I have going on at the moment. Hopefully I’ll manage to help myself and pull myself out of this never ending dark hole which keeps sucking me in.
Woah, I dint realize that this post is on to a such a rough start, apologies! Let’s get into the review shall we?
I ordered the Cheekathon palette back in May, it was a treat to myself for my birthday. I’ve been wanting to buy benefit blushes for so long but never really puckered up the courage to spend $20+ on a blush, but as soon as I saw this limited addition goddess of a palette I clicked so fast that I even surprised myself and because I couldn’t just buy one thing from Sephora, I had to pick out products to complete my purchase. Yay me!
Check out my Sephora haul!
The palette comes with three blushers; Corallista, dandelion and Dallas, the ever so raved about and always present in makeup collection videos; Hoola and Rocketeer which is a highlight.
The packaging is godly, it’s like too faced and tarte had a baby on ecstasy. As soon as you open the palette it smells of all things good in this very material world.
“Cause we’re living in a material world, and I am a material girl” – Madonna knows whasssup
I personally think the palette smells like opening a new Barbie doll, or the smell of new clothes, my sister on the other hand thinks it smells like washing your hands at the mall, now I don’t really know what that smells like, but I’m willing to go with it.
If you have ever used benefits blushers and bronzers before then you’ll know they are an absolute treat. Personally I love Corallista because it goes so well with almost every makeup look, I love the sheen in the product. Hoola bronzer is so good, I struggle with finding good bronzers that show up on my face, and hoola looks absolute holla on! (That was so lame, but you get my point)
In terms of wearbility I love the blushers, I use this palette on the daily and im very satisfied with the results.
All in all it’s an amazing addition to my collection and I absolutely adore it.
Thanks for reading!
